ACME Solar Holdings Limited has won a 301 MW/1,204 MWh assured peak supply project under SECI’s FDRE-VII scheme in an e-reverse auction held on February 5, 2026. With this addition, ACME Solar’s total contracted portfolio has increased to 8,071 MW across solar, wind, storage, hybrid, FDRE and round-the-clock (RTC) solutions. The formal Letter of Award for the project is expected to be issued soon.

Under the terms of the bid, ACME Solar must supply 4 MWh per MW of contracted capacity during any four hours each day, specifically during non-solar hours. The project must also maintain an availability of 70 percent on a monthly basis and 85 percent annually. To meet these requirements, the project will combine solar power generation with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), making use of the night-time grid connectivity already available to the company.

ACME Solar plans to deploy an integrated system that stores excess solar energy and dispatches it during peak evening and night-time demand periods. This approach ensures reliable renewable power supply even when solar generation is not available, supporting grid stability and strengthening the clean energy mix.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited is one of India’s leading integrated renewable energy companies, with a diversified 8,071 MW portfolio covering solar, wind, storage, FDRE and hybrid solutions. The company currently has 2,962 MW of operational contracted capacity and 5,109 MW under construction, including nearly 17 GWh of battery storage installations.

Of the under-construction portfolio, 2,668 MW is backed by signed PPAs. With in-house EPC and O&M capabilities, ACME Solar manages end-to-end project development and plant operations, ensuring timely, cost-efficient execution and strong performance, reflected in its industry-leading capacity utilisation factors and operating margins.
